Freshmart

Back in 2018, the food industry in Peru generated over 20 billion dollars annually. Yet, only 15% of this figure was controlled by large supermarket chains. This revealed a deep-rooted national preference for traditional markets, where Peruvians found the freshest produce, built relationships with their local vendors, and trusted that they would receive the best their stall has to offer.

It was within this context that Freshmart was born – the country's first online marketplace. A fusion of tradition and technology, Freshmart offered the convenience of online shopping while preserving the quality and personal touch of the local market. Their value proposition was simple: deliver the freshest produce possible. On their website, customers could find vegetables straight from the farm and fish fresh off the boat. Freshmart brought the market into the 21st century, becoming your digital neighborhood grocer.

We redesigned Freshmart’s brand identity to maintain this connection with consumers, leveraging the brand's significant presence within all touchpoints.
