Metro de Lima

Back in 2009, we took on the challenge of designing the signage system for the new Lima Metro, back when it was still known as the Tren Eléctrico. The project led us to in-depth research on readability, visual hierarchy, and accessibility, defining key criteria such as the minimum letter size needed for clear visibility from a distance.

Over the years, the system has been altered and mixed with other elements outside the original design, creating the visual clutter we see today. However, the foundation of our work remains, highlighting the importance of clear and consistent signage in public spaces.
